Made in collaboration with the Crowsnest Sports Bar in Sunland, Ca.
Late one rainy day in early spring, two master brewers from a local brewery were hanging out at the Crows Nest, when one turned to the other and said, “ Lets craft a special beer thats unique and easy to drink that would make the Captain of the Crows Nest proud.” They were familiar with the suds on board and the patrons’ tastes, so they designed and crafted a red ale with a mild taste, honey and citrus notes, and a clean finish. They boldly brewed the beer without the Captain’s knowledge. Rumor has it the new ale was sampled among the crew before presenting it to the Captain. When the captain tried it, he loved it, and made it his flagship beer!
